October is now National Window Covering Safety Month.

     The window-covering industry and government officials have declared October as National Window Covering Safety Month. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC), the month long campaign will raise awareness of window-cord strangulation hazards. The slogan for the new campaign will be "Kids, Cords, Caution," to be used in manufacturer and retailer promotions as well as WCSC-directed media, information and public-relations efforts. MORE
